Some of the work that I have been doing over the last year has been about exploring the representation of my childhood imaginary friends. This work, due to its content, is work influenced by imagery relating to and ideas about childhood. These ideas manifest in the works through the selection of colours and the use of line. Other works that I have been working on have been representation of a toy bird in a cage. The work resulting from this theme has been heavily involved in the use of delicate line and bold colour to characterise shape and form.
